Vietnam is truly the world of coffee. Not only are they one of the top coffee-exporting countries, but they also boast a rich variety of unique and delicious coffee recipes. Take Salt Coffee, for instance—if that doesn’t impress you, then you absolutely must try Coconut Coffee. It’s one of the best fruit coffees I’ve ever tasted.
Coconut coffee is a type of specialty coffee drink that combines the rich flavor of coffee with the tropical essence of coconut. The natural sweetness of coconut milk complements the inherent bitterness of coffee, resulting in a harmonious blend that you cannot resist.

This coffee is combined with sweetened condensed milk and coconut milk or cream to create a rich, indulgent drink. Some recipes also call for whipping cream to enhance the creamy texture further. However, I will stick with the original recipe.
Here’s how to make the coconut coffee:

Coconut Coffee
Ingredients
- 1 cup strong Vietnamese coffee or any dark roast coffee
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 2 tbsp sweetened condensed milk adjust to taste
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Brew a cup of strong Vietnamese coffee using a traditional phin filter, French press, or drip coffee maker.
- In a blender, combine the coconut milk, ice cubes, and sweetened condensed milk. Blend until smooth and frothy.
- Pour the brewed coffee into a shaker. Shake vigorously until the coffee becomes frothy and has a light brown foam.
- Pour the shaken, frothy coffee into the glass. Top with the coconut milk mixture.
