  • 3 oz Tamarind puree
  • 4 oz Silver Tequila
  • 2 oz Triple Sec
  • 1 oz Fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz Agave syrup
  • Ice cubes
  • Tajin salt or regular salt for rimming the glasses
  • Lime wedges for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Run a lime wedge around the rim, then dip the glass into salt, coating it evenly.
  • In a shaker, combine the tamarind puree, silver tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, and agave syrup.
  • Add ice cubes to the shaker and shake the mixture vigorously for about 15-20 seconds.
  • Strain the margarita mixture into the prepared glasses over fresh ice.

Notes

Adjust the agave syrup quantity based on your sweetness preference. For a more intense tamarind flavor, you can add a bit more tamarind puree.
