In a large pitcher, combine the grape juice, orange juice, lemon juice, and honey or maple syrup. Stir until the sweetener is dissolved.
Add the sliced oranges, diced apple, sliced lemon, sliced lime, and mixed berries to the pitcher. If using optional additions like cinnamon stick or pineapple, add them as well.
Gently muddle the fruits with a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon to release their juices and flavours.
Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and let the mixture macerate for at least 1-2 hours.
Just before serving, add the sparkling water or club soda to the pitcher and stir gently.
Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the Sangria mocktail into each glass.
Garnish with fresh mint leaves for an aromatic touch.
Serve and enjoy your refreshing Sangria mocktail!
Notes
- Fruit Selection: You can choose a variety of fruits based on your preference and what's in season. The combination of citrus fruits like oranges, peaches, lemons, cranberries, strawberries, and limes adds a zesty flavour, while berries provide a burst of sweetness.- Juices: Opt for high-quality juices to enhance the flavour, like pomegranate juice. Freshly squeezed juices are the best, but if you use store-bought, look for juices with no added sugars or artificial ingredients.- Sweetener: Adjust the amount of honey or maple syrup based on your taste preference. Some fruit juices might already be sweet, so you might need less sweetener.- Sparkling Water: Adding sparkling water or club soda gives the mocktail a refreshing fizziness similar to the bubbles in traditional sangria. You can adjust the amount of sparkling water based on how bubbly you want the mocktail to be.
