Instructions
Spread softened butter on one side of each bread slice.
Place a layer of Raclette cheese on the unbuttered side of two slices. Add the smoked ham or roasted vegetables on top, then season with a pinch of salt and pepper if desired. Add an additional layer of cheese over the ham or veggies.
Place the remaining bread slices on top, buttered side facing out.
Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Place the sandwiches on the pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has fully melted.
