Ingredients
  

For the cold brew

  • 1 cup coarsely ground coffee
  • 4 cups cold water
  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • A pinch of nutmeg

For the cocktail

  • 2 oz vanilla vodka
  • 4 oz cold brew coffee prepared
  • 1 oz simple syrup or to taste
  • Ice
  • Ground cinnamon and nutmeg for garnish
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions
 

Make the cold brew coffee

  • In a large jar or pitcher, combine the coarsely ground coffee and cold water. Add a pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg for a hint of warmth.
  • Stir gently to ensure all the coffee grounds are saturated.
  • Cover and let it steep in the refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours, depending on your desired strength.
  • After steeping, strain the coffee through a fine mesh sieve or a coffee filter to remove the grounds. You should have about 4 cups of cold brew coffee.

Prepare the cocktail

  • In a cocktail shaker, add ice, 2 oz of vanilla vodka, 4 oz of your prepared cold brew coffee, and 1 oz of simple syrup.
  • Shake gently until well combined and chilled.

Serve

  • Fill a glass with ice and strain the cocktail mixture into the glass.
  • Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
  • Garnish with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon and nutmeg on top.
