ripe white peaches (you can use yellow peaches)
or 1 cup of white peach puree
1
bottle of chilled Prosecco
750 ml
Ice cubes
optional
Instructions
Peel, pit, and puree the white peaches using a blender or food processor until smooth.
Spoon 2 tablespoons of peach puree into the bottom of a chilled champagne flute.
Slowly pour the chilled Prosecco into the flute, over the peach puree. The ratio is typically 1 part peach puree to 2 parts Prosecco.
If desired, gently stir the mixture to combine the peach puree and Prosecco. Be careful not to stir too vigorously to maintain the effervescence.
Optionally, add ice cubes to the glass for extra chill, and enjoy it.
Notes
To give more peach flavor, you can add Peach Schnapps to the recipe.
