Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x9-inch casserole dish.
  • In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch Brussels sprouts for 3-4 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic until soft and fragrant, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in heavy cream, cheddar, and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
  • Combine the Brussels sprouts with the cheese sauce and mix well.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared casserole dish and top with breadcrumbs.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the casserole is bubbling.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving.
