Ice cubes
Wateras needed
Instructions
Use a citrus juicer or your hands to extract the juice from the oranges. Remove any seeds and pulp, leaving only the fresh orange juice.
In a blender, combine the chopped carrots, lemon and orange juice, and the grated ginger.
Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
Place a fine mesh strainer over a bowl or pitcher to strain the juice. Pour the blended carrot-orange mixture through the strainer to separate the pulp from the juice. Use the back of a spoon to press down on the pulp to extract as much juice as possible.
If you prefer a thinner juice, you can add a bit of water to the strained juice and mix well. The amount of water you add will depend on your desired consistency.
Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the freshly strained carrot-orange juice over the ice. Give the juice a quick stir before serving. You can garnish with a small slice of orange or a twist of orange peel if desired.
Notes
Store carrot orange juice in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. However, you should drink it within 24 hours. Shake or stir before serving, as natural separation may occur over time.
