Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice or lime juice
  • 1 small garlic clove minced
  • 1/4 cup water adjust for desired consistency
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey optional, for a touch of sweetness

Instructions
 

  • Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender or food processor.
  • To the avocado, add olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, water, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Blend until smooth.
  • If the dressing is too thick, add more water a tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Add honey, more salt, or pepper if needed. Blend again to combine.
  • Drizzle over salads, bowls, or use as a dip. Enjoy!

Notes

To prevent avocado dressing from becoming brown:
  • Add citrus juice promptly
  • Press plastic wrap directly on the surface
  • Store in dark containers
  • Use freshest ingredients
Troubleshooting:
  • If the sauce is too thick, add water or citrus juice gradually.
  • If it's too thin, blend in additional avocado.
  • If it is separated, re-blend it with a splash of warm water
