Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz refried beans
  • 1 tsp taco seasoning
  • 2 ripe avocados mashed
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise optional, for extra creaminess
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1 cup chunky salsa mild or spicy, your choice
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican cheese blend
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions
  • ¼ cup sliced black olives

Instructions
 

  • Mix refried beans with taco seasoning and spread evenly in a serving dish.
  • Mash avocados with lime juice and salt, then spread over the beans.
  • Combine sour cream, mayo (if using), and taco seasoning. Spread over the guacamole.
  • Layer the salsa evenly on top.
  • Sprinkle the cheese over the salsa.
  • Top with tomatoes and green onions.
  • Finish with black olives for a classic touch.

Notes

  • Can be made 4–6 hours ahead; cover and refrigerate.
  • Add diced jalapeños or hot salsa for a spicy version.
  • You can add corn, shredded lettuce, or crumbled queso fresco for extra texture.
