Apple Cider Vinegar and Lemon Juice has become my new favorite wellness drink. Last time, I made a blend of apple cider vinegar with cranberry juice. This time around, I’m ready to shake things up by swapping out the cranberry juice for the zesty kick of lemon juice. If you’re ever out of cranberry, this lemon juice is an ideal substitute.

Apple cider vinegar and lemon juice recipe
Apple cider vinegar (ACV) and lemon juice are commonly combined for their reputed health benefits. They help the immune system, aid digestion, and possibly assist in weight management, and regulate blood sugar. It’s also one of the best drinks to help you maintain your weight.

However, the drink isn’t for everyone due to the high acidity. You may find it unpleasantly sour, and the drink may cause tooth enamel erosion and digestive discomfort.
You should only take 1-2 tablespoons of the mixture in the morning, followed by no more than 1 tablespoon per additional dose throughout the day. The total daily intake should not exceed 4 tablespoons.
Always dilute apple cider vinegar (ACV) with water to protect your teeth and throat. Use a 1:8 ratio for a morning tonic, 1:10 pre-meal, 1:12 post-exercise, or 1:6 for therapeutic use. Use a straw, rinse your mouth afterward, and wait 30 minutes before brushing to protect dental health.
To counterbalance this acidity, I sweetened the drink with honey or syrup. Here’s how to make Lemon Juice and Apple Cider Vinegar:

Health Benefits
The Apple Cider Vinegar and Lemon Juice aids digestion by boosting enzyme production and improving nutrient absorption. It also balances gut flora, reduces bloating, and regulates stomach acid levels. Key compounds like acetic acid and pectin enhance protein digestion and support gut health.
For metabolism, drinking this blend in the morning can increase thermogenesis and fat burning. It also helps stabilize insulin levels and improves glucose response. Studies show regular intake may support weight loss over time.
The combo strengthens immunity with vitamin C from lemon and probiotics from ACV. It offers antioxidant protection, supports white blood cells, and enhances pathogen resistance. Additionally, it aids detox by improving liver, kidney, and lymphatic function, reducing swelling, and promoting better filtration.
Not bad, but I prefer adding some ginger and cayenne for an extra kick. Really wakes you up!
