- 2 oz apple brandy (or calvados)
- 1 oz toffee liqueur (or butterscotch schnapps)
- ¾ oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
- ½ oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1 egg white or 20 ml aquafaba for vegan version
- Ice cubes
- Apple slice or dehydrated apple wheel for garnish
Add all ingredients (except ice) to a cocktail shaker. Shake hard for 15 seconds to whip the egg white.
Add ice and shake again for 15–20 seconds until well chilled and frothy.
Strain into a chilled coupe or rocks glass.
Garnish with an apple slice or dusting of nutmeg.
- To make it lighter, reduce simple syrup or use sugar-free syrup.
- For extra aroma, flame an apple peel over the glass before serving.
- Use apple schnapps instead of brandy, butterscotch syrup if you don’t have liqueur.
