1 cup fresh strawberries hulled 2 tbsp honey or sugar adjust to taste 1 cup milk or dairy-free alternative 1/2 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee 1/2 tsp vanilla extract optional Ice cubes optional, for iced version
In a blender, combine the fresh strawberries and honey (or sugar). Blend until smooth, adding a little water if needed to help blend.
In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until warm, but not boiling.
Pour the strawberry mixture into two glasses.
Stir in your espresso or strong coffee. Then pour the warm milk over the top.
Froth the milk before pouring to create a creamy texture. (optional)
Add vanilla extract for extra flavor, and stir gently.
Serve immediately, or pour over ice for a refreshing iced strawberry latte.
