Crushed graham crackers for rimming the glassoptional
Miniature peanut butter cups for garnishoptional
Ice cubes
Instructions
Chill your martini glasses in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
If you prefer a rimmed glass, moisten the rim with a bit of water or use a lime or lemon wedge. Then, dip the moistened rim into crushed graham crackers, rotating it to coat evenly. Set the prepared glasses aside.
In a cocktail shaker, add the chocolate liqueur, peanut butter whiskey, cream or half-and-half, and simple syrup.
Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to thoroughly chill the mixture.
Strain the Peanut Butter Cup Martini into the prepared martini glasses.
You can garnish each martini with a miniature peanut butter cup on a cocktail pick or skewer.
Serve your Peanut Butter Cup Martini immediately, ideally in a chilled martini glass, and savor the delightful combination of chocolate and peanut butter flavors.
Notes
You can drizzle chocolate syrup along the inner surface of the martini glass before you pour in the Peanut Butter Cup drink. This will increase the sweetness.
To make it even nuttier, consider adding a small amount of hazelnut liqueur (e.g., Frangelico) to the mix.
For a non-alcoholic version, you can replace the peanut butter whiskey with peanut butter syrup and the chocolate liqueur with chocolate syrup. Ensure you use a non-alcoholic cream or milk substitute.
