- 1 cup chopped seedless watermelon about 160 g
- 2 oz strong brewed coffee or 2 shots espresso
- 1 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tbsp whole milk or unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbsp heavy cream or half & half
- 1 tsp sugar or maple syrup optional; adjust to taste
- Small pinch of salt
- Ice cubes
- Watermelon wedge or mint sprig for garnish optional
Brew 2 oz of strong coffee or espresso. Let it cool slightly or chill in the fridge.
In a blender, combine watermelon, condensed milk, milk, cream, sugar (if using), and a tiny pinch of salt.
Add a few ice cubes and blend until smooth and slightly frothy.
Fill a glass with fresh ice. Pour the watermelon mixture in. Slowly pour the coffee on top to create a gentle layer or swirl.
Stir before drinking or serve layered for visual appeal. Garnish if desired.
