Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 ½ oz whiskey (bourbon or Scotch)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cinnamon stick optional, for garnish
  • 1 lemon slice for garnish
  • 2-3 whole cloves optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat water until hot but not boiling.
  • In a heatproof mug, combine whiskey, honey, and lemon juice.
  • Pour in the hot water and stir until honey dissolves.
  • Garnish with a lemon slice, cinnamon stick, and cloves if desired.
  • Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • You can adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
  • Herbal tea can replace hot water for extra flavor.
  • For a stronger version, use 2 oz whiskey.
  • Best enjoyed freshly made for the exact warm, soothing result.
