Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or finely chopped white chocolate
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup vodka
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sugar adjust to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan, combine the white chocolate and heavy cream.
  • Heat over low to medium heat, stirring constantly, until the white chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth. Be careful not to let it boil.
  • Add the whole milk and sugar to the saucepan.
  • Continue to heat and stir until the sugar is fully dissolved and the mixture is well combined. Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
  • Once the chocolate mixture is cool, stir in the vodka and vanilla extract.
  • Mix until everything is thoroughly combined.
  • For a smoother consistency, you can strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove any undissolved chocolate pieces.
  • Pour the liqueur into a clean, sterilized bottle or jar with a tight-fitting lid.
  • Seal the bottle and store it in the refrigerator. Allow the flavors to meld for at least 24 hours before serving for the best taste.

Notes

  • If you prefer a less sweet liqueur, reduce the amount of sugar.
  • You can experiment with additional flavors like almond or hazelnut extract for a different twist.
  • Because this liqueur contains dairy, the shelf life of this homemade chocolate liqueur is not long. It should be kept refrigerated and consumed within 2-3 weeks.
