- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup light brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon whole milk
- 1 tablespoon green food coloring
- ½ cup white chocolate chips (optional)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Mix in the egg, vanilla extract, vinegar, milk, and green food coloring until well combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in white chocolate chips if using.
Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing cookies about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are set.
Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
