- 2 cups water
- 1- inch piece fresh ginger peeled and thinly sliced
- 1–2 teaspoons honey optional
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice optional
In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
Add the sliced ginger and reduce the heat. Simmer for about 10 minutes to allow the flavor to infuse.
Remove from heat and strain the tea into mugs.
Stir in honey and lemon juice to taste.
