- 2 lbs (900 g) sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 cup milk or plant-based milk
- 1 tsp salt adjust to taste
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary chopped (optional)
Boil sweet potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15–20 minutes. Drain.
