Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz triple sec or orange liqueur
  • 1 oz fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 oz lime juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup adjust to taste
  • Ice cubes
  • Salt for rimming the glass, optional
  • Orange slices or wedges for garnish, optional

Instructions
 

  • Moisten the rim of the glass with a lime wedge and dip it into salt on a small plate.
  • In a shaker, combine tequila, triple sec or orange liqueur, fresh orange juice, lime juice, and simple syrup.
  • Add ice cubes to the shaker.
  • Secure the lid on the shaker and shake the mixture vigorously for about 15-20 seconds. This helps chill the drink and blend the flavors.
  • Using a strainer, pour the mixture from the shaker into the prepared glass over ice.
  • Garnish with orange slices or wedges and serve
