Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen mango chunks
  • 4 oz 120 ml silver tequila
  • 2 oz 60 ml triple sec
  • 1 oz 30 ml fresh lime juice
  • 1-2 tsp agave syrup adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper or jalapeño or habanero pepper adjust to spice preference
  • Ice cubes
  • Salt or Tajin (a chili-lime seasoning) for rimming the glasses, optional
  • Lime slices and chili powder for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Run a lime wedge around the glass rim and dip it into salt. Sprinkle a bit of chili powder into the salt for an extra kick.
  • In a blender, combine the mango chunks, tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, agave syrup, and jalapeño or habanero pepper.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of water and blend again until desired consistency is reached.
  • Fill the prepared glasses with ice cubes.
  • Pour the spicy mango margarita mixture over the ice.
  • Garnish each glass with a lime slice on the rim and a sprinkle of chili powder for an extra spicy touch.

Notes

If you want to adjust the heat of the cocktail, follow these tips below:
  1. Mild Heat:
    • Remove jalapeño seeds and membrane
    • Brief muddling (5-7 seconds)
    • Strain immediately
  2. Medium Heat:
    • Keep half seeds
    • Standard muddling (10-12 seconds)
    • Short infusion (2-3 minutes)
  3. Maximum Heat:
    • Include all seeds
    • Aggressive muddling (15 seconds)
    • Extended infusion (5 minutes)
