2 cups fresh or frozen mango chunks 4 oz 120 ml silver tequila 2 oz 60 ml triple sec 1 oz 30 ml fresh lime juice 1-2 tsp agave syrup adjust to taste 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper or jalapeño or habanero pepper adjust to spice preference Ice cubes Salt or Tajin (a chili-lime seasoning) for rimming the glasses, optional Lime slices and chili powder for garnish
Run a lime wedge around the glass rim and dip it into salt. Sprinkle a bit of chili powder into the salt for an extra kick.
In a blender, combine the mango chunks, tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, agave syrup, and jalapeño or habanero pepper.
Blend until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of water and blend again until desired consistency is reached.
Fill the prepared glasses with ice cubes.
Pour the spicy mango margarita mixture over the ice.
Garnish each glass with a lime slice on the rim and a sprinkle of chili powder for an extra spicy touch.
