- 36 Oreo cookies regular or double-stuffed
- 3.9 ounces instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted (1 stick)
- Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving optional
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
Crush the Oreo cookies into coarse crumbs. You can use a food processor or place the cookies in a zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
Spread half of the crushed Oreos evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until smooth and thickened, about 2 minutes.
Pour the pudding mixture evenly over the layer of crushed Oreos in the baking dish.
Sprinkle the remaining crushed Oreos over the pudding layer.
Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top of the Oreos.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
