- 10 oz frozen chopped spinach thawed and squeezed dry
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 packet (about 1 oz) dry vegetable soup mix (Knorr or similar)
- 3 green onions finely sliced
- ½ tsp garlic powder
In a bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, soup mix, garlic powder, and green onions.
Stir in spinach until evenly mixed.
Cover and refrigerate at least 1-2 hours to allow flavors to blend.
Serve chilled in a bread bowl or with chips, crackers, or veggies.
- Best flavor develops after chilling for several hours.
- For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for half the sour cream.
- Leftovers keep in the fridge for up to 3 days (stir before serving).
