Ingredients

  • 10 oz frozen chopped spinach thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 packet (about 1 oz) dry vegetable soup mix (Knorr or similar)
  • 3 green onions finely sliced
  • ½ tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, soup mix, garlic powder, and green onions.
  • Stir in spinach until evenly mixed.
  • Cover and refrigerate at least 1-2 hours to allow flavors to blend.
  • Serve chilled in a bread bowl or with chips, crackers, or veggies.

Notes

  • Best flavor develops after chilling for several hours.
  • For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for half the sour cream.
  • Leftovers keep in the fridge for up to 3 days (stir before serving).
