Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe avocados diced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes diced
  • ½ small red onion finely chopped
  • 1 small jalapeño seeded and minced (optional)
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cumin optional for extra flavor

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, gently mix the avocados, tomatoes, red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro.
  • Add the garlic, lime juice, salt, pepper, and cumin. Stir gently to combine without mashing the avocado too much.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  • Serve immediately with tortilla chips, tacos, grilled meats, or as a fresh topping for burritos.

Notes
