- 4 cups diced watermelon seeds removed
- 2 cups cold water
- 2 tbsp lime juice about 1 lime
- 1-2 tbsp sugar or honey optional, to taste
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish optional
In a blender, combine the diced watermelon, cold water, and lime juice. Blend until smooth.
Taste the mixture and add sugar or honey if desired, blending again to mix well.
If you prefer a smoother drink, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove the pulp.
Pour the Agua Fresca into glasses over ice cubes. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
