- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 cup milk or dairy-free alternative
- 2 shot of espresso or ½ cup strong brewed coffee
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- Cinnamon stick or powder optional
- Whipped cream optional
In a small saucepan, heat the apple cider and milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
Stir in cinnamon and maple syrup.
Pour coffee into mugs, then top with the hot apple cider mixture.
Add whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and a cinnamon stick or apple slice if desired.
- For extra indulgence, froth the milk before adding it for a café-style latte.
- You can replace espresso with instant coffee if you don’t have an espresso machine.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup (or skip entirely if your cider is sweet enough).
- A dairy-free version works wonderfully with oat milk for a creamy texture.
