- 1 ½ oz Amaretto liqueur
- 3 oz Orange Juice (freshly squeezed is best)
- ½ oz Grenadine
- Ice cubes
- Orange slice & cherry for garnish
Fill a glass (highball or rocks glass) with ice cubes.
Pour Amaretto over the ice. Add orange juice and gently stir.
Slowly pour grenadine down the side of the glass—it will sink and create a sunrise effect.
Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry.
Serve immediately without stirring, so the colors stay layered. Enjoy!
- Add ½ oz (15ml) of vodka or rum to make it stronger.
- Replace Amaretto with almond syrup or orgeat syrup for mocktail versions.
