It’s Taco Tuesday, and I’m diving into a delicious taco feast tonight. I’ve got this amazing taco wrapped in a warm, soft tortilla, filled with all the savory goodness you can imagine. And to make it even better, I’ve got a refreshing Prickly Pear Margarita on the side.
Also known as “tuna” or “sabra,” prickly pear is a succulent fruit native to the Americas, particularly prevalent in arid regions. It’s perfect for cocktails.
I gotta say that the unique flavor of this cactus margarita, balancing sweetness with a touch of tartness, complements the savory, often slightly spicy, flavors of typical taco fillings (ground beef, chicken, or carne asada.) What I love most about this Prickly Pear Cactus Margarita is that the natural acidity of this fruit helps cut through the grease in tacos.
