Equipment

  • Blender or Juicer
  • Fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves plus extra for garnish
  • 1-2 tbsp honey or agave syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 cup cold water
  • Ice cubes optional

Instructions

  • Rinse the raspberries and mint leaves thoroughly under cold water. Set aside a few raspberries and mint leaves for garnish.
  • In a blender or juicer, combine the fresh raspberries, mint leaves, and cold water. Blend until you achieve a smooth and well-incorporated mixture.
  • If you prefer a smoother juice, you can strain the mixture using a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove the pulp. However, keeping the pulp adds fiber and texture to the juice.
  • Taste the juice and add honey or agave syrup to sweeten, adjusting the amount according to your preference. Blend briefly to ensure even sweetness.
  • Place the raspberry mint juice in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow it to chill. You can also add ice cubes directly to the juice if you prefer it cold.
  • Pour the chilled raspberry mint juice into glasses. Garnish each glass with a few reserved raspberries and mint leaves for a visually appealing presentation.

Notes

If you have a juicer to extract the juice, no need to strain the mixture.
