The next fresh juice I’m gonna make for this National Fresh Squeezed Juice Week (Jan 21st, 2024 – Jan 27th) is Blackberry Juice. It might seem like I’m stuck in a berry-filled reverie, but who can blame me? Besides the fact that berries are bursting with antioxidants and health benefits, berry juices offer a smooth and easy drinking experience that makes them my perennial favorite.
Blackberry Juice, with its deep purple hue and naturally sweet taste, promises to be a delightful drink. This drink also offers a variety of health benefits due to its rich nutritional profile. This Blackberry Juice is an immune-boosting drink that also supports healthy digestion.
It is packed with antioxidants that may reduce the risk of chronic diseases, support digestion, boost immunity, and promote healthy skin, hair, and bones. Its anti-inflammatory properties can lower inflammation, while antioxidants support brain health. Low in calories and high in fiber, it’s also one of the juices that aids in weight management.
The nutritious blackberry pulp can be kept and turned into a delicious Blackberry Lemon Meringue Cake. Why waste the fiber and goodness? It’s a dual-purpose approach, ensuring every part of the berries’ essence will be used. Here’s how to make the Blackberry Juice:
